Robert W. Eckels - Of Westwood, Dec. 1st. Beloved husband of Elizabeth A. (Kennedy) Eckels and the late Mary C. (Turner) Eckels. Loving father of Barbara A. DeWolf and her husband Howard of VA, Patti A. Eckels of VA and Robert W. Eckels Jr. and his wife Patti of Framingham. Devoted grandfather of Christine, David and Allison DeWolf and Katherine, Michelle and Kimberly Eckels. Great grandfather of Sarah, Matthew, Joseph and Tobias. Brother of the late Jean Berl of NJ. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Holden, Dunnirvine and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109), WESTWOOD on Friday, Dec. 5th at 8am. Funeral Mass in St. Margaret Mary's Church at 9am. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8pm. Interment New Westwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's name to the Alzheimer's Assoc, 36 Cameron Ave, Cambridge MA 02140. Robert was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of WWII.
