Dee Ann was most known for being The Best Mother and Mimi in the World! Her love and selflessness was an example for us all. She was the unconditional love that was always there, and words cannot express how much she will be missed.
Dee Ann demonstrated an extraordinary ability to overcome challenges in her life with grace and humor that inspired her family and friends. She endured so much during her life, including the tragic loss of a young child and several serious illnesses with impeccable strength and dignity. Through it all, she was optimistic and never let anything dampen her spirits.
Dee Ann will be lovingly remembered by her husband of forty-two years Wally Kunzman; her children, Jamis Kunzman, Ashley Kerr and her husband Scott; grandchildren, Carsen, Cooper and Campbell Kunzman, Kailey, Major, Lainey and Riley Kerr; a brother John Lackey; a sister Caroline Adams and additional family and many friends.
Dee Ann is now enjoying herself in heaven reunited with her father and mother Richard and Jeane Lackey, stepfather Jim Adams; sisters Rickey Lackey and Debbie Faulkner; and her beloved son Cole.
