Florene was a graduate of California High School. She married Elmer Rowles on June 27, 1964 at which time she became a resident of Tipton. She was a 38 year employee of the Tipton Pants Factory. Florene and Elmer were constant companions after her working career. She enjoyed crocheting and making things for "The Work of Our Hands" and giving her handiwork to others. She was extremely attached to her dog "Peppy".
Florene was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother Ruth Potter; and brother Calvin Potter.
She is survived by her husband Elmer of the home; sister Norma Woods of California, MO; brother Larry Potter of Oklahoma; and many friends and relatives.
Funeral services for Florene Rowles will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 26, 2018 at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Tipton. Visitation will begin at 12 PM prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow at the Tipton Masonic Cemetery.
