Ronald L. "Humphrey" Mayle, 51, of Philo, died at 10:08 P.M. December 8, 2004 at the Ohio State University Hospital. He was born March 16, 1953, in Zanesville. He was the son of Naomi Newman Mayle and the late Raymond G. Mayle. He had worked for McGraw Edison for 20 years as a tow motor operator, and had also worked at Grief Brothers as well. He also was a member of the Union Tabernacle Church. He was a past member of the Boy Scouts. He was a U.S. Marine Corp. Veteran and he loved to hunt and fish. Besides his mother he is survived by his wife of the home, Kimberly S. Shumate Mayle, whom he married May 17, 1980; a son, Stephen A. Mayle of the home; a brother, Tony(Lisa)Mayle, Philo; two sisters, Cathy(Phillip)Avery, Petersburg, MI. and Victoria(Philip)Watters of Zanesville; and many aunts and uncles; 19 nieces and nephews; and 7 great nieces and nephews. Besides his father who preceded him in death in 1992, he was preceded by a brother, David Mayle; his paternal grandparents, Nimo & Eva Mayle; and his maternal grandparents, Alston & Alberta Newman. VFW George Selsam Post 1058 will hold full military rites at the grave.
