ASHLAND - Opal N. Adkison, 80, died April 22, 2004, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis. Campus, Wichita.

She was born Nov. 6, 1923, at Sitka, the daughter of Leavitt A. and Laura E. Wright Haydock . She graduated from Ashland High School in 1941.

A resident of Ashland, formerly of Colorado Springs, she worked as a dietician
at Memorial Hospital, Colorado Springs. She belonged to United Methodist Church and to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, both at Ashland.

In 1941, she married Loren Wimmer at Protection, She later married. Nolan Mulch at Clayton, N.M. They both preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two sons, Art Mulch, Colorado Springs, and Frank Mulch, Pratt; a daughter, Glenda Sue "Suzie" McMillan, St. John; a brother, Gary Haydock, Boise. City, Okla.; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a
step-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Wimmer; six brothers, Elwin, James, Leland, LA Jr., Eugene, and Larry Joe Haydock; and two sisters, Valoise, Aiken and Voda Shayler.

Funeral will be at 11am Tuesday at United Methodist Church, Ashland, with the Rev.
Don Hasty presiding. Friends may call from 9am-8pm Sunday and Monday at Myatt Funeral Home, Ashland. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Ashland. Memorials may be sent to the church or to a charitable organization of the donor's choice, in care of the funeral home. Hutchinson News Paper
