The deceased was married October 30, 1851, to Frances M. Tarry, who died August 13, 1900. This union was blessed with three daughters and one son, all of whom still survive. He moved to Clark county, Kansas in 1885, residing here ever since. He united with the Presbyterian church in early life and fully trusted in his Savior to the last.
