The oldest Lutheran Church in Ohio was organized in 1803 and the church was built in 1808 on the six acres of land donated by Daniel, William & Henry Stettler and John Barlet. The Stettler Church was also refered to as the "Ridge Church" and the Stettler Cemetery next to the church was the first burial ground in Montgomery County, Ohio.
