Cleveland - Lloyd E. Vogel, 86, village of Cleveland resident, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018, at the Felician Village in Manitowoc. Lloyd was born April 1, 1931 in Cleveland, the son of the late Laveral and Norma Lutze Vogel. He attended Red Arrow Grade School and graduated from Sheboygan Central High School in 1949. On December 17, 1969, Lloyd was united in marriage to Dorothy Ausen at St. John and St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church Parsonage. The couple resided in Cleveland. Lloyd operated the Vogel Lumber Company in Cleveland and worked for Richardson Lumber Company in Sheboygan Falls until retiring in 1994. Lloyd was a member of St. John and St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cleveland. He was a long time member of the Cleveland Fire Department. He enjoyed playing sheepshead, attending his grandchildren's sporting events and just spending time with family and friends. Lloyd is survived by his five sons, Jerry (Michele) of Newton, Ken (Stacy) of Cleveland, David of Greenfield, Lee (Michelle) of Kiel, and Dean (Jessica) of Cleveland; ten beloved and cherished grandchildren, Zackary, Trevor, Taylor, Hannah, AJ, Sydney, Alyssa, Ausen, Addison, and Madden; one brother, Wayne (MaryAnn) Vogel, one sister, Grace Jaeger, and one sister-in-law, Mary (Ausen) Mueller. Proceeding him in death are his wife, Dorothy, and two Brothers-in-Law, Howard Jaeger and Elroy Mueller. Funeral Services for Lloyd, will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, January 26, 2018, at ,St. John and St Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cleveland. Pastor Randall Styx will officiate. Friends may call at the CHURCH on Friday January 26, 2018 from 1:30 P.M. until the hour of service. Private Family Burial Rites will be held on Saturday, January 27,2018 at St. Johannes Cemetery in the Village of Cleveland.
