Walter J. Hermansen, 25, son of Soren Hermansen, passed away Saturday afternoon at the Salina hospital after an illness of two months. The cause of death is not exactly known according to information given by the attending physicians.
Walter Hermansen was born at Elsinore in August, 1906, and spent all of his life here. He was a boy of outstanding character, honorable and honest in all his dealings. He is survived by his father; four brothers, Herman, Vernal, Roland and Neldon, and by three sisters, Ida and Fern Hermansen, and Mrs. Dorothy Johnson, all of Elsinore.
