Rex “Rexie” Mitchell Beane, Jr., age 64, of Dubois, PA, was born in Warren, Pa on July 31, 1952. He was killed in a house fire on February 17, 2017 in Dubois. Rex was the son of Rex M. Beane, Sr and Hazel Holmes Beane of Endeavor, PA. He graduated from WFHS in 1970. Rex, Jr. served in the US Army from 1971-1975. His enlistment included Ft. Dix, NJ and Germany. He was a lifelong truck driver. Rex’s passion was Dale Earnhardt, Sr., NASCAR, truck pulls & Chevy Silverado’s.
Rex, Jr. was preceded in death by his father, Rex, Sr (Dec. 2003) and his mother, Hazel (Dec. 2016).
He was married to Joyce (Borden) Beane who survives in DuBois. Rex, Jr. was also survived by his 4 children. Deon Mitchell Beane & wife Jennifer of Midland, MI, Dana Michelle Beane Heckman & husband Jack of Tionesta, Stephany Beane Dunham & husband Jim of Brookville & Samantha Beane Greeley & husband Brandon of Brookville. Also surviving is his sister Dixie Beane Miller & husband Donald of Corryton, TN, one niece, Josie R. Rutter & 3 children of Corryton, TN & one nephew Kenneth E. Miller & significant other Fleda Bromley of Corryton, TN.
