Jimmy Ray "Pete" Michael, was born June 29, 1932 in Slaytonville, Arkansas the son of the late Justin and Lenora (Fields) Michael and went to be with our Lord and Savior on January 26, 2018 in Greenwood, Arkansas. He was a retired employee of Yaffee Metal, a member of Abundant Life Fellowship, a Korean Veteran and attended Hartford High School. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara to whom he married on July 25, 1958, his daughter Cassie and her husband Albert, Son, Scott Michael and wife Tammy, granddaughter, Calee Henderson and husband Steve. Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Abundant Life Fellowship 4205 Hwy 252 West Hartford, Arkansas. Family will receive friends Tuesday, January 30, 2018 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Lewis-Roberts Funeral Chapel 2911 West Hwy 10 Greenwood, Arkansas. Interment will be held at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, near Slaytonville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Robert Townsend, Derrick and Dee Castillo, Bobby Skinner, Ronnie Morrison and Jeremy Michael. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles David Posey, Bill Dake, Jim Faulkner, Warren Barge, Barry Richardson, Rick Sabatucci and Homer Michael Jr. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Gideons P.O. Box 971 Fort Smith, Arkansas 72902.
