Mary Elizabeth (Bowers) Anderson was the daughter of John W. and Catherine (Smithbauer) Bowers. She was the wife of Godfrey Andrew Anderson. They were married in 1898. Godfrey died November 3, 1944. Mary died of typhoid fever and bronchial pneumonia/obesity and umbilical hernia. Her death certificate was signed by Dr. L. L. Hobbs.
