On June 15, 2016 just hours before her 70th birthday, Patricia Anne Beach lost her one year battle with cancer.
Pat, born June 16, 1946 in Washington, D.C. to the deceased Robert L. and Katherine E. Goodson is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ronald I. Beach, their 3 children and their families; son Eric A. Beach, wife Karen Blankenship and grandchildren Kaylin, Marissa, Kyle, and Joshua, son Jeff A. Beach, daughter Staci L. Mildenstein, husband Mike Mildenstein, grandchildren Jessika, Justin, step-grandchildren Chad, Justin, Liz and step-great-granddaughters, Mia and Mayzie.
Pat, also known as Patti grew up in Clinton, MD. She was trained musically and taught for the Springfield Music School through her high school years. After marrying her high school sweetheart Ron, the two raised their three children in Clinton as well. Pat and Ron, and their three children graduated from Surrattsville Senior High School. The family later built and moved to Hughesville, MD.
Pat worked for Alexandria Lighting and Supply in Alexandria, VA for 42 years. Pat served with fundraising and Christmas functions at the Jaycees before kids, in various leadership positions for the PTA at her kid’s schools, and coached a variety of sports in Clinton Boys and Girls Club.
Pat and Ron retired to Lake Monticello in Palmyra, VA in 2013 and have enjoyed their peaceful house on the lake since then.
Visitation will be held on June 21, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with service at 7:00 p.m. at Raymond Funeral Service, P.A. located at 5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646.
Interment will be 11:00 a.m. on June 22, 2016 at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601.
