Obituary Notice: Barbara L. Nagy
Barbara L. Nagy, 69, of Clearfield died Monday, Jan. 29, 2018 at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh.
She was born Dec. 23, 1948, the daughter of Henry D. Bloom and Ruth L. (Ott) Bloom.
Ms. Nagy worked at Harbison Walker and Butler Trucking as an office clerk.
She was a member of the Kerr Addition United Methodist Church, where she was part of the United Methodist Women, Christians Who Care and a past membership secretary.
Additionally, she was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society and March of Dimes.
She’s survived by her mother, Ruth Bloom of Clearfield; three aunts, Myra Peters and her husband, Rodney of West Decatur, Ann Ott of Curwensville and Nancy Ott of Luthersburg; and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father; her grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home Inc. with Pastor Mark Brower officiating.
Friends and family are invited to the funeral home from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday.
