Brother Jerry was the son of Cleade and Christine Asberry nee Holland. He was married to Demona Howard Asberry for 53 years. Brother Jerry served the Lord for many years. He pastored in Missouri, North Carolina, and 18 years at Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Paducah, Kentucky. And most recently at Zoar Baptist Church in Cunningham, Kentucky. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, buying and selling firearms and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandson Logan Simpson. He is survived by his wife; daughter, Melissa Hamilton; son, Michael Wayne Asberry; and five grandchildren. Visitation and funeral services were held at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with burial in Zoar Cemetery.
