Reverend G.L. Haggans officiated at the services conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Carlson Funeral chapel for Mrs. Minnie Brown, 79, who passed away Sunday of a heart ailment at the county farm in Greenbush, where she had made her home for about seven years. The remains were laid to rest in Oak Knoll cemetery.
Mrs. Wayne Cunningham, accompanied by Mrs. Haggans, sang two solos - "Nearer Still Nearer" and "There'll Be No Dark Valley."
Minnie Taylor was the daughter of Duncan and Matilda Taylor and was born in Ogdensburg, N.Y. on December 16, 1866. Her parents and two brothers, Archie H. and Duncan, preceded her in death.
