Mr. Thomas Jefferson Potter died at his home on Thursday, December 24, 1959 of a heart attack.
He was born in Dallas, TX, but lived most of his life in Nashville. He was a retired automobile mechanic. In 1903, he married the former Sammie Boyd, who survives.
Mr. Thomas is also survived by daughters Miss Louise Potter and Mrs. Dorothy Franks, both of Nashville; son Oscar Potter of Nashville; and sisters Mrs. W.H. Mills, Mrs. J.T. Gleaves, Mrs. Fannie Diese, all of Nashville, Mrs. W.D. Schuerman of Sparta, and Mrs. Vera Bauman of Charleston, NC.
