Manitowoc - Sheron A. Knipp, age 79, a resident of Kindred Hearts Assisted Living, Manitowoc, died Sunday, February 4, 2018 at River's Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.

She was born on December 19, 1938 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Harold and Lucille (Kempka) Vieweger. Sheron was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1956. On September 19, 1959 she married Andrew Knipp at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on May 3, 2002. Sheron was employed with the Manitowoc Company and then employed as a secretary for St. Mary Catholic Church in Manitowoc, retiring in 1989. She was a member of the Machinist Auxiliary, St. Mary Catholic Church Choir and enjoyed playing cards and bowling with her friends.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law: Gregory and Lori Knipp, Manitowoc, David & Judi Knipp, West Allis, Mark & Lisa Knipp, Manitowoc; one daughter and son-in-law: Kathleen & Jonathan Records, Roseville, CA.; six grandchildren: Andrea, Heather, Erin, Adam, Abby and Xavier; seven great grandchildren; and one sister and brother-in-law: Bonnie and Marlon Grenier, Two Rivers. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by a son: James Anthony Knipp.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 8, 2018 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall (1114 South 21st Street) Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dave Pleier with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2018. A prayer service will conclude the visitation at 7:00 p.m. led by Rev. Dave Beaudry. The family will also greet relatives and friends Thursday morning, February 8, 2018, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall.

Sheron was a loving mother, sister and grandmother who enjoyed her family. She loved to ride on the motorcycle with her husband, Andy. She also enjoyed traveling, cross-stitch and watching the Green Bay Packers.
