Donna Bowles, 74, died January 2, 2018, at her home in Hutchinson. She was born May 19, 1943, in Hutchinson to Henry H. ‘Bill’ and Letha (Koehn) Stanley.

Donna graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1961. She worked at Lowen Corporation and for Hospice of Reno County. After retirement, she was a ‘Book Buddy’ for the Boys and Girls Club, helped with Toys for Tots, and was a longtime volunteer for Hospice House. She enjoyed tennis and was an avid golfer.

On November 26, 1966, she married Robert L. ‘Bob’ Bowles in Junction City. He died September 26, 2017.

Donna is survived by a daughter, Amanda Goetz and husband Jay of Overland Park; two grandchildren; and a brother, David Stanley and wife Sherry of Hutchinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Darin Bowles.

Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Taylor’s Cabin, located at Dillon Nature Center, 3002 E. 30th Avenue, Hutchinson. Memorials may be made to Hospice House, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
