He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Grace and his parents Claude and Clydie Adams.
Eugene was a lifetime and dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Maysville, where he devoted countless hours as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, and served in many other capacities. His love for the Lord flowed into every part of his life and he touched many lives. He was a true example of a Godly husband, father, son, brother, Papa and friend. He will be greatly missed by all.
A special thank you to his longtime caregiver, Kristy Adkins and her sister Stephanie. Also, thank you to the many other caregivers who helped us over the years.
Visitation will be held from 6:30-8:30 PM Monday, February 5th at the First Baptist of Maysville, NC and funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 6th at the church with entombment following at Onslow Memorial Park in Jacksonville.
