Adam Scott Bement, 36, Palmyra, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018. Born Nov. 26, 1981, at Louisville.

He was a heavy-equipment operator for T.S.I. in Louisville and a member of Diesel Mafia.

He was preceded in death by his father, Scott Bement, and an uncle, Dale Sullivan.

Survivors include his wife, the former Tonya L. Strawser; mother, Robin L. Arledge (Jared) of New Salisbury; two stepdaughters, Hunter Roach of Palmyra and Haylee Slucher (James) of Charleston, S.C.; a step-granddaughter, Amelia Slucher; a sister, Britney Griffin (Matt) of Crestwood, Ky.; grandparents, Thomas and Clara Sullivan of New Salisbury; three nephews, Mason, Michael and Jeffrey Griffin; and several uncles and cousins.
