AN OLD CITIZEN DEAD
Henry Baughman, an Aged Citizen, Near Bunceton, Passes Away
Another pioneer citizen of Cooper Co, in the person of Henry Baughman, has passed from earth to the land beyond. He died at his home near Bunceton, Monday morning about ten o'clock at the advanced age of 76 years. Mr. Baughman was born in the community in which he lived his entire life. His health had been very poor for the past several years, and for some time prior to his death had failed rapidly.
He was a citizen of high standing in the community in which he spent his life and will be greatly missed.
Besides the wife, whose maiden name was Annie Cole, he leaves surviving six children. They are: Mrs. John L. Morris and Mrs. George Gilbreath of Bunceton; Mrs. Harvey Underwood of Webb City, Mo.; and Mrs. Ben Morris, Hadley Baughman and Charles Baughman, residents of the Bunceton neighborhood.
