Peekskill - Joseph Thomas Kearsley, Sr. of Peekskill, NY passed away on February 9, 2018 at the age of 89. Joseph was born in Ossining, NY on May 20, 1928. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1946 through 1949, and worked as a nursing attendant at Sky View in Croton-on-Hudson. He was also a member of the Presbyterian Jazz Society of Mt. Vernon. Joseph was a talented calligrapher and photographer, but will be best known as a loving father and grandfather.

Joseph is survived by his loving children Karen, Donna, and Kyle, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, caring siblings Henry (Betty), Marion, Janet (Arthur), and Henrietta (David), as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00pm at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 KINGS FERRY RD., MONTROSE, NY. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:00am on Monday, February 12, 2018 also at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, MONTROSE, NY with burial to follow at Bethel Cemetery in Croton-on-Hudson, NY.
