Robert William House was the son of Carl Clyde and Effie Gladys House. He was born in Karnak, Illinois and graduated from Community High School in 1948. William retired from working for the State of Illinois. He was a member of Twelve Oaks Baptist Church of Paducah, Kentucky where he served his Christ faithfully and loyally until he was called home. William was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce Laynette House nee Shepherd, two children who died at birth and a daughter, Starla Ann; his parents; a brother Carl Eugene House; a stepdaughter, Brenda Miles; and a nephew. He was survived by his present wife, Helen Louise Miles House; a niece and nephew; several great nieces and nephews; and several great-great-nieces and nephews. Visitation and funeral services were held on February 12th at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah; burial followed at Cypress Cemetery in Karnak.
