Her journey as a beloved English Professor began at Stanbrook Hall, Duluth, MN. She was hired by Itasca Community College, transferred to Vermillion Community College as Provost, later returning to Itasca Community College to finish her teaching career.
Lisa's favorite part of teaching was learning which she did through planning her many travels to London, Europe and especially Florence, Italy.
Lisa was an active member of the Friends of the Library. She loved mystery books, chocolate and a good cup of coffee. Lisa was an active member of The Women League of Voters and a voice at the state level for the Teachers Union.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister Theresa Borelli.
Lisa is survived by her sister, Joann (Charlie) Ross; nieces: Angela (Jim) Denny, Alecia Ross, Mary (Dale) Warmbold; nephews: Chris (Ann) Ross, Steve Ross, Owen Erickson, Tobie (Steph) Ericksons; life-long special friend Nell (Phil) Black; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
