MACY, Neb. - Valentine Parker Sr., 72, Macy, died Tuesday in a hospital at Winnebago of long illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in his home at Macy... Burial will be in the Omaha Indian Cemetery at Macy under direction of the Pearson Funeral Home in Onawa.... Mr. Parker was born June 13, 1906, at Macy. He married Minnie Woodhull in 1934 in Omaha. He was a farm laborer and a lifelong area resident. Mr. Parker was a lifetime member of the Native American Church at Macy, and he was religious leader among all tribes who practice the Native American Religion. He was a tribal government leader for 13 years.
