Grandmother to Johnny Abner Jr., Christopher Abner, Mathew Abner, Angela Stephens, Rachel Stephens, and Stacy Jenkins. Great-Grandmother of Johnny Abner III, Jayden Abner, Cameron Abner, Colin Abner, Logan Buck, Greyer Abner, Morgan Abner, Elliot Abner, Easton Abner, Abby Jenkins, Amanda Jenkins, Katie Jenkins, and Jacob Schnell. Also survived by her sister-in-law Irene Meadows and many other friends and family members. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Robert Allen Meadows, Estell Leon Meadows, and Mary Helen Reece. Norma, a resident of Milford, passed away on February 10, 2018 at the age of 79. Visitation will be held at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home (Bethel) on Friday February 16, 2018, from 11:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM. Interment at Laurel Carmel Cemetery.
