Robert L. "Bob" Howard of Pine Ridge, Kentucky husband of Laura Burchfield Howard departed this life Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the age of 77 years, 1 month and 30 days. He was a son of the late James Leon and Mary Charolett Buffet Howard born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on December 11, 1940. He graduated from the University of Kentucky earning his masters degree, then graduated from the University of Georgia earning his bachelors degree. He was a forestry and agriculture U.K. extension agent and was a member of the Campton Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife Laura Burchfield Howard of Pine Ridge, Kentucky; 2 sons, Robert Scott Howard and wife, Shirley of Louisville, Kentucky and Randall Craig Howard of Lexington, Kentucky; 4 grandchildren, Alex Robert Howard, Nicholas Watson, Michael Howard and Bentley Howard and 1 brother, James Howard and wife, Pat of Covington, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Leon and Mary Charolett Buffet Howard. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Serving as pallbearers; Steven Kane Spencer, Todd Holbrook, Ray Burchfield, Paul Burchfield, Craig Howard, Robert Scott Howard, Jim Howard and Nicholas Watson. Serving as honorary pallbearers; Ted Holbrook, Tub Spencer and David Nickell.
