Cherilynne graduated from Hallettsville High School then went on to Victoria College, Del Mar College and studied Nursing at New Mexico State University. She worked in the health care industry at several nursing homes and for hospice. Cheri was a Methodist and a member of the United Methodist Women. She has a passion for crocheting, playing the piano and she loved turtles. Her loves were her two dogs Roy Baby and Brittan Lee. Cherilynne married her true love Raymond O. Crockett.

Cherilynne is proceeded in Heaven by her husband and true love Raymond who passed three months earlier on September 25, 2017; her parents Bill and Glenda; and her brother-in-law Steve Scanlan.
She is survived by sister, three brothers, other relatives and many friends.
