In Wayne, yesterday, Abner Cloud Baldwin, formerly of Downingtown, died, aged 73 years. He was a son of Abner and Hannah Baldwin, and was born on the farm of his father, near Gallagherville, the house now owned by Geo. J. Hoopes. He had lived in Lancaster and in Downingtown, leaving the latter place two or three years ago, since which time he has made his hoe with his nephew, Dr. I.H. Whyte, at Wayne. He had never married, and no brothers of sisters survive.

In Downingtown some years ago he made a specialty of counting the automobiles as they passed along the Lancaster pike, and his records were frequently published in the Local News.
