Edelmira A. Ledesma, 79 years old of Belle Glade, FL died at her home Saturday, July 17, 1999. Born in Cortes, Pinar del Rio, Cuba, she was a resident of Belle Glade since 1962. Mrs. Ledesma was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben B. Ledesma, who died in 1989.
She is survived by her son, Ruben B. Ledesma, Jr. and his wife Janet of Jupiter; a grandson, Wesley Ledesma, also of Jupiter; a sister, Paula Sotolongo; and a niece, Gilda Plasencia both of Miami; other relatives living in Miami and Cuba.
The family will receive friends this evening, Monday, July 19, from 5-8:30 pm at QUATTLEBAUM-HOLLEMAN-BURSE FUNERAL HOME, 1201 South Olive Avenue, West Palm Beach FL 33401 with a Wake Service to be held at 7:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 am, Tuesday, July 20, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 310 North Olive Ave., West Palm Beach with the entombment to follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, West Palm Beach.
