Albert C Lasko, 75, of Carmichaels, died at 4:50 pm Thursday, October 27, 1994, in Greene County Memorial Hospital. He was born November 6, 1918, in Calumet, a son of John and Mary Harkey Lasko. Mr. Lasko attended Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church in Nemacolin and had retired from the LTV Steel Corp.Nemacolin Mine in 1982. He had served as a Cumberland Township constable and policeman and as the police chief for Carmichaels Borough. He was also employed for a number of years at the Michael Lucas Funeral Home. Mr. Lasko was a member of the UMWA Nemacolin Local 6290. He had lived in Carmichaels for the past 30 years. On February 3, 1940, he married Jennie Guzik Lasko, who survives. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Mrs. James (Carol L) Norris of Garden Grove, Cal., and Patricia L Rulong of Carmichaels; five grandchildren, James Norris III, Lisa Simkovic, Tabitha Mattei, John A. Lasko and Charles A. Lasko; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are one son, John A. Lasko; three brothers, Charles, John and Paul Lasko; and one sister, Ann Fuddla.
