Through the years, locally she was employed at Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette until her retirement.
Those left to treasure many fond memories are her loving husband, Mr. Byron (Jake) Elmore of many years, and family; sisters, Mrs. Martha Ann O’Neal, Ms. Lillie G. London, Ms. Addie E. Blalock of Dalton, GA, and Mrs. Myra J. (Willie) Render of Chattanooga, TN; two brothers, Bishop James R.. (Mattie) O’Neal of Kokomo, IN, and Mr. Robert (Sherry) O’Neal of Dalton, GA; an aunt, Ms. Generelyn Johnson of Dalton, GA; nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a very dear friend and cousin, Ms. Barbara G. Kenned of Lafayette.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Barron O’Neal.
