Ronnie Louis Durbin, 65, of Bardstown, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018, at his home. He was a Catholic by faith, a collector of John Deere toy tractors and enjoyed the Wheat Thrashing Event on the Durbin Farm every year. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Louis and Geneva Christine Mattingly Durbin; a sister, Connie Durbin Jackson and a brother, Michael Durbin. Survivors include his wife, Edna Louise Hughes Durbin; a daughter, Crystal Ronetta Hamilton (Bobby); a son, James Walter Durbin (Belinda Pinkerman); two brothers, Randall Durbin and Terry Durbin (Denise); two sisters, Arlene Harrell (Leon) and Lisa Barnes (David); five grandchildren, Cory Durbin, Megan Boyatt, Bobbie Jo Hamilton, RyLee Masden and Rose Hamilton and three great grandchildren, Caden Ford, Mia Wright and Brantlee Durbin. Funeral services will be 11AM Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at Kappel Funeral Home in Boston with Chaplain Terry Troutman officiating. Burial will follow in Little Brick Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8PM Monday, February 19, 2018, and after 9AM Tuesday at the funeral home. Kappel Funeral Home in Boston is in charge of the arrangements.
