Mrs. Mildred Doris Allen, age 84 of Middleton, Tennessee, passed from this life Thursday evening, February 15, 2018 at Bolivar General Hospital.
A lifelong resident of Hardeman County, Mrs. Allen was born Saturday, February 25, 1933 to the late William Henry Luther Earnest and Annie Pearl Short Earnest. On Saturday, March 7, 1953, she was united in marriage to Carroll Otto Allen, who preceded her in death October 27, 2004.
Mrs. Allen was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her dogs, BeeBee and Taco, and working with flowers. She was raised in the Pentecostal faith and attended Rogers Springs Church of Christ.
Survivors include her sons, Tom Allen (Jane) of Bolivar, Lee Allen (Shelly) of Bolivar, Charles Allen (Carla) of Kossuth, MS, Randy Allen of Middleton, and Larry Allen (Dede) of Middleton; brother, James Aron Earnest of Middleton; grandchildren, Jessica Hanifee (David), Brittany Thomspon (Brian), Savannah McMillan (Cameron), James Allen (Jessica) and Jeremy Allen (Juliet); three stepgrandchildren, John Ray (Courtney), Destiny Ray and Magan Ray; nine great-grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, J. C. Earnest.
