OHN L. FINNEL (d. 1972)

John Finnel Sr., 62, of Rt. 1, Maribel, died unexpectedly Sunday morning at home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, Cooperstown. The Rev. Lambert Scanlan, brother-in-law, will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Mr. Finnel was born March 18, 1910, in the Town of Gibson, son of the late John and Mary Charvat Finnel. He married Gladys Scanlan June 18, 1933, at St. James Catholic Church. Mr. Finnel was a lifetime farmer in the Town of Gibson. He worked at Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc., for a number of years. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church and the Larrabee Sportsman Club.

Survivors include his wife, five sons and four daughters (Survivors omitted for privacy.); two sisters, Mrs. Peter Gates, of Two Rivers and Mrs. Carl Sobiech, of Milwaukee; five grandsons and ten granddaughters. An infant son
and a brother preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 o'clock this Monday afternoon where a Wake service will be held at 8 o'clock.
