BERTHA'S OBITUARY
Southbridge: Bertha T. (Milczewski) Gagnon, She was born on 13, July, 1930 and she was 87 when she passed away on Monday, Nov. 27th, 2017. Her husband, Robert D. Gagnon died in 1984. She leaves her son, Clyde R. Gagnon and his wife Renita of Southbridge; a granddaughter, Kristina Gagnon of Southbridge. She was predeceased by her twin brother, Bronislaw Milczewski; and two sisters, Jeanette Lach and Katherine Pouliot. She was born in Southbridge, the daughter of John and Katarzyna (Ochala) Milczewski. Bertha attended and graduated from Mary E. Wells High School. She worked for several years at the American Optical Company in Southbridge as an expediter in shipping. Bertha was a member of St. Hedwig’s Church of St. John Paul II Parish. She enjoyed working in her yard as well as in her flower gardens.

A calling hour for Bertha will be held on Thursday, Nov. 30th, from 9:00 to 10:00am in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home at 10:00am. Burial will be in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery, Southbridge.

Bertha's birth name was Bronislava Theresa Milczewski, her Parents were from Poland and she had a twin Brother name John Bronislaw Milczewski.

Bertha was a very nice person for neighbors and families. She was a heaver smoker. she lived in a house in Southbridge, MA and her and her husband, Her Sister and her Husband and their Mother lived in it also. That house was split so they have their own Homes.
