Fell asleep in Jesus December 8th, 1880, at Look Out, Federick County, VA., Willie Pierce, youngest child of Rev. John H. and Lizzie J. Barney, aged one year 4 months and 8 days. Willie was a promising child, the joy of his parents' hearts. Oh how uncertain is life, in a few short hours he was snatched from them and Angels took his happy spirit up to Jesus who loveth little children while on earth and said "suffer them to come unto me and forbid them not, for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven." He has left his parents, one brother and two sisters to mourn his loss. But they mourn not as those who have no hope, for if we live for Jesus we shall meet Willie in Heaven.
