Edwyna M. Cowger, age 93, of Manteno, formerly of Peotone, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Heritage Woods of Manteno.

She was born on May 24, 1924 in Harvey, IL. She married the late Darald L. "Roy" Cowger on April 28, 1945 in Matteson, IL. He died on February 1, 2001.

She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a former member of the West Peotone and Peotone Methodist Church. She enjoyed counted crosstitch, adult coloring books, playing Bingo, and her numerous pen pals.

She is survived by her children, Diane (Donald) Cravens of Houston, TX, Dale (Jeanne) Cowger of Rio Rancho, NM, Dennis (Judy) Cowger of Peotone, and Denise (John) Hack of Peotone; her grandchildren, Brian (Audrey Wick) Cravens, Amy (Eugene) Prasatik, Christine Cowger, Jennifer (Shawn) O'Brien, Dana (Chris) England, David (Tiffany) Cowger, Tony (Michelle Pontarelli) Hill, Betsy (Adam Hawley) Hill, Phillip (Tammy) Cowger, Nathan (Monica) Cowger, Paul (Allison) Hack, Kevin (Pamela) Hack, Jared (Melissa) Hack, Jaclyn (Michael) Cain Jr.; 26 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Marge Lister of Homer Glen, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Myrtle (Rockrohr) Lister; a brother, Robert Lister; a sister and brother-in-law, Lorraine (Jim) Staat; a granddaughter, Janel Cowger; a grandson, Chad Cowger; 2 great-grandsons, Jacob Cowger and Dylan Cain; and a great-granddaughter, Samantha Cain.

Visitation will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Thursday, February 22 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Thursday, February 22 at 7:00 p.m., Pastor Laury Hunter officiating.

Interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemtery in Elwood, IL.

Memorials to the Family's Wishes would be appreciated.
