Services for Virginia E. McCoy, age 88, of Jacksonville, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 22, 2018, at the First Christian Church in Jacksonville with Rev. Barbara Morgan officiating. Visitation will be held at the Church from 1:00 to 2:00 prior to services.

Virginia Escueta McCoy was born March 1, 1929 in Manila, Philippines to Vincente and Pauline Martines Escueta. She was one of ten children including 3 sisters and 6 brothers.

Virginia was a retired nurse and a member of the First Christian Church in Jacksonville. She loved God and family unconditionally and intensely with all her being.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald Howard McCoy and several brothers and sisters.

Surviving Virginia are her two sons, Neal and Melinda McCoy of Longview and Gary and Jan McGaughey of Jacksonville and her two daughters, Barbara and Greg Morgan of Tyler and Virginia and Chris Negrinelli of New York, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous brothers, sisters and other step children, family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Gary McGaughey, Neal McCoy, Swayde McGaughey, Greg Morgan, Manuel Escueta and Charles Wilson.

A private burial will be held after services.
