Bertha Weigum passed away March 20, 2011, at the age of 95. Bertha was born February 21, 1916 to John and Amalia Frank in Selfridge, ND and lived there several years before coming to Lodi in the 1930's. She and her late husband, Herb, started the Lodi Nursery and Landscaping. Bertha was a charter member of Temple Baptist Church in Lodi. Bertha enjoyed cooking dinner for family and friends as well as crocheting. She also enjoyed music and was self taught to play the organ, piano and guitar. Bertha is preceded in death by her husband Herbert Weigum. She is survived by her children, 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm, Sunday, March 27, 2011 at the Chapel of Flowers at Cherokee Memorial Park, hwy 99 at E. Harney Lane in Lodi. Pastor Parry Kallis officiating. Interment to follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family with final arrangements.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Temple Baptist Church or to the charity of the donor's choice.
