MULLINS - Margie Lea Allen Cooper Lewis, 79, died Friday, February 23, 2018 at Carolinas Hospital System of Florence after an illness.
Mrs. Lewis was born December 4, 1938 in Marion County, a daughter of the late Wiley William Allen and the late Geneva Jackson Allen. She had worked at Anvil Knitwear as a supervisor.
Surviving Mrs. Lewis are two sons, Michael (Pam) Cooper of Conway and Phillip Cooper of Mullins; one daughter, Pam (Carol) Cooper of Loris; two sisters, Joann Rogers of Mullins and Barbara Ann Goble of Mullins; 3 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Lewis was predeceased by a granddaughter, Charity Cooper; a brother, Wiley Allen, Jr. and two sisters, Mary Allen Rogers and Bonnie Faye Allen Daniels.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 26, at Riverside Cemetery in Nichols, with Rev. Richard Huggins officiating.
