Nevis Alley Jasper Grider, 88, of Russell Springs, died Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home. She was born September 4, 1929 in Russell Springs to the late Marvin & Gertrude Bailey Alley. She was a homemaker and a member of the Beckham Ridge Separate Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Nevis was preceded in death by her husbands, James Jasper & Ralph Grider, and 1 daughter, Pytricia Kaye Jasper.

Mary Lynn (Kevin) Bailey,
Jo Nell (Charles) Smith

Funeral service for Nevis Alley Jasper Grider will be 10 AM Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at the Beckham Ridge Separate Baptist Church with Bro. Richie Curtis, Bro. Garnett Hammond, Bro. Dustin McGowan, & Bro. Eric Antle officiating.

Visitation 4-8 PM Monday at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel and after 8 AM Tuesday at the church.

Interment in the Bethlehem Cemetery.

Active pallbearers: Billy Grant, Chris Jasper, Craig Jasper, Greg Hammond, Bryce Bailey, Jonathan Smith.

Honorary pallbearers: Billy Jo Cravens, Tunie Kerr, Gary Sullivan, Clarence Redmon.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Bethlehem Cemetery. These can be made at the funeral home or at the church.
