Granddaughter of Sen Robert S. Kerr
Joffa JJ Kerr, age 55, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away of natural causes at her home in Oklahoma City on October 27th. Her parents are Joffa Kerr and W.G. Kerr of Wilson, Wyoming.
JJ graduated from Norman High School and the Minneapolis Fashion Institute. She resided in Minneapolis for a number of years and worked for the Cargill Companies, Century 21 Real Estate and Wyoming Outfitters of Edina, Minnesota.
She is survived by her parents and sisters Kavar Kerr of Jackson, Wyoming and Mara Kerr of Carmel, California as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews in Oklahoma and Texas. JJ was preceded in death by her twin brother, David Kenworthy Kerr, in 1972.
A memorial service was held with family and friends "at home" in Oklahoma City October 30th. Her family has requested any memorials honoring JJ be contributed to: Sooner Chapter, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 3908 N. Peniel, Suite 330, Bethany, Oklahoma 73008. Final arrangements for JJ have been made by Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper, Oklahoma City.
