Sharon Kay Ambrose, 73, of Pana, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018 in Pana Community Hospital. She was born June 19, 1944 in Pana, daughter of Larry Grant & Clara “Tootsie” (Forsythe) McCullough and raised by Arthur & Clara McCullough.

Sharon was a graduate of Pana High School, Class of 1962 and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Pana. She had worked at Webb Greenhouse, Mallory Mfg., National Greenhouse for 10 years, and All Tri-R, Inc. She enjoyed being outside, working in her yard and her girlfriends were very important to her and she looked forward to their Tuesday nights together.

Sharon married Ronald E. Ambrose on July 1, 1962 in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Pana. He survives and they were blessed with three children: Dorothy Ann Lees, Christina Kay (Dave) Dionne, & Ronald E. (Lori) Ambrose, Jr.; grandchildren that lit up her life, Danielle Lees (Ben) Lyons, Katelyn Lees (Kyle Robertson), Roaran Lees, Bailey Ambrose, Ryann Ambrose, Andrew Ambrose, Derrek Ambrose & Philip Dionne; great grandchildren: Julian Lyons, Beckett Lyons, Ruby Lyons, & Blakely Robertson; brother, David McCullough; nieces & nephews: Ricky Hepp, Tony Ambrose, Angel Buchberger, Gail Hanlin, Robert Ambrose & Heath Weaver; and special Friend of 25 years, Sharrie Eilers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Patricia Hepp; and nephews, Randy Hepp & Mike Ambrose.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Terrence E. O’Brien officiating. Burial will be in Rosemond Grove Cemetery, Rosamond. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until service time in the funeral home.
