Helene J. Brdaric, 88, of Luzerne, passed away Monday morning at Celtic Hospice, South Wilkes-Barre.
Daughter of the late Alexander and Christina Luzetsky Lazar, she was a member of Holy Family Parish, Luzerne.
Helene loved polka dancing, made the best potato pancakes and drove her car like she stole it.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, John Brdaric Sr., son, John Jr., infant brother, Nicholas; brothers, Michael, Peter, John, George and Steve Lazar; and sisters, Margaret Levitsky, Irene Thomas, Anna Yatsko and Mary Shara.
Surviving are her grandchildren, Jamie and Husband, Bryan Fedor, and John and wife, Carrie, both of Kingston Twp.; great-grandchildren, Colbie and Brooklyn Brdaric and Ashlyn Mott, and life companion, Mike Belak.
The funeral will be held Friday from Betz Jastremski Funeral Home Inc., Luzerne, with a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Parish, Luzerne, with the Rev. W. Jenkins officiating.
Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Wyoming.
