She was employed at several area oil companies in credit and collections, most recently at Irving Energy in Lebanon, NH until her retirement. Cindy loved animals and rescued many throughout her life. She was an avid power lifter and became Vermont State Champion in 1998. She also achieved a black belt in Karate. She was a member of the Windsor School Board in the 1970’s where she served as chairperson. She was also a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Windsor. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and animals. She was predeceased by her parents, one daughter, Jennifer Perron and her former husband, Raymond H. Perron.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond Perron and his wife, Margaret of Madison, WI and Matthew Perron and his wife, Lori of Weathersfield Bow, VT, three daughters, Cheryl Demers and her husband, David of Lebanon, NH, Wendy Lee Perron, and Kimberly Carroll and her fiancé, Michael Schneller of Windsor, one sister, Marianne Blake of Windsor and her children, Jeffrey Blake of Portland, ME, Michael Blake of Falmouth, ME and Robyn Blake McAllister of Windsor, eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening, March 1 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Knight Funeral Home in Windsor. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 2 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Windsor. Committal services will be held at a later date in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society at PO Box 702, Brownsville, VT 05037 or to the VINS Nature Center at 149 Natures Way, Quechee, VT 05059.
