Sammie James Fulton, 87, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018 in Childress.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 2, 2018 at 10 am at the Childress Church of Christ with Trey Morgan officiating with Dr. Green assisting.
Burial will be held at 1:30 pm in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Paducah, Texas under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Home from 6-7 pm.
Sammie James Fulton was born on January 6, 1931 to B. and Thelma Fulton in King County. He and Madge Underwood married December 27, 1949 in Hillsboro, Tx. Sammie was passionate about farming and ranching the land where he was born and raised.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Survivors include his wife, Madge of Childress;
2 Sons, James Fulton and wife, Ragena of Granbury, TX, and Ronnie Fulton and wife, Taffy of Huntsville, TX;
2 Sisters, Joyce Burton of Childress and Jo Knight of the Austin area;
6 Grandchildren, Jason Fulton and wife, Diana of Sunnyvale, TX, Dr. Ryanne Wu and husband, Dr. Samson Wu of Singapore, Justin Fulton of Fort Worth, Robert Fulton of Bryan, TX, Sam Fulton and wife, Tracie of College Station, and Kathryn Dolliver and husband, Kyle of College Station;
9 great-grandchildren; and several extended family and friends.
