After many years of ill health, Mrs. William Schmidt, passed away at her home on 1719 Nineteenth Street Saturday. Deceased was a native of Germany where she was born 56 years ago. At the age of nineteen she came to this country settling in Two Rivers. Her maiden name was Mary Hahn and soon after arriving here she became the wife of William Schmidt, who, with seven children survive her. The children are Walter, Paul, Emma,, Mrs. J. Mancel, Ella and Sylvia of this city and Mrs. Erin Bechtelheimer who resides in Florida. A sister, Mrs. Eliza Bugenhagen of this city and five grandchildren also survive. The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon from St. John's Lutheran church, Rev. W.G. Haase officiating.

We wish hereby to express gratitude to neighbors and friends for kindness and sympathy extended us in our bereavement due to the illness and death of our beloved mother. We are especially grateful to those who gave flowers and for use of automobiles and those who participated in the funeral.
