WALTER F. SCHMIDT

Walter F. Schmidt, 80, of 1404-20th St. Two Rivers, died Tuesday evening in Two
Rivers Community Hospital.
A prayer service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Klein and Stangel Inc. Funeral Home,
Two Rivers. The Rev. Marin Scheele will officiate and burial will be in Pioneers
Rest Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mr. Schmidt was born April 29, 1897 in Two Rivers, son of the late William and
Maria Schmidt. He was a veteran of World War I and World War II. He married
Geraldine Gauthier Dec. 2, 1950 in Manitowoc. He was employed (sic) employe of
The Metal Ware Corp.
Survivors include his wife, a step-son, James Kopetsky of Manitowoc; four sisters,
Mrs. Martha Mancel of Two Rivers, Miss Sylvia Schmidt and Mrs. Ben Frye of
Milwaukee and Mrs. Irma Bechtelheimer of Dade City, Fla., and three step-grand-
children. Two brothers, Wilhelm and Paul preceded him in death.
Friends may call in Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home after 4 o'clcok (sic)
this Wednesday afternoon.
